A Loving Tribute to Kyle Doan

The torrential storms this past winter brought deluge after deluge of much-needed rain to our state; however, with this came a heartbreaking tragedy that has touched the hearts of virtually everyone on the Central Coast.

On the morning of January 9, 2023, 5-year-old Kyle Doan was swept away from his mother, Lindsy by the raging floodwaters that overtook their vehicle at the creek crossing on San Marcos Road in San Miguel.  Search and rescue efforts began immediately and have continued ever since thanks to community volunteers and a variety of rescue organizations. After more than nine months, Kyle has not been found.

While most of these search and rescue organizations do not charge for their specialized services, the high costs of expenses related to these searches are unavoidable. Volunteer personnel, with their specially trained canine units and machinery, must be compensated for their travel, food, lodging, etc.  These expenses add up quickly with every search effort.

In support of Lindsy and Brian Doan’s continued efforts to find their son, and in honor of their precious Kyle who was taken far too soon, we are offering "Kyle's Necklace".  All proceeds will be donated to the Doan family.

The necklace features a Sterling Silver disk with Pink Sapphires and a single Diamond. He was five years old, hence five stones in total. The sapphires showcase Kyle's favorite color, pink, and the single diamond represents the shining spirit of Kyle, himself

Our hearts are with you, Lindsy, Brian & Family.

In Sterling Silver, the necklace is $350, including Sterling Silver chain.

The necklace can also be made in white gold, yellow gold or rose gold and is $950 including a gold chain ($650 without chain).

All proceeds go to the Doan Family.
